Good ending until the music went into a stupid Grange Hill type tune!

I would have liked all the cast and crew wave the show out like they used to
do at New Years time years ago.

Yeah the Grange Hill riff was a bit strange, surprised they didn't through
some Hollyoaks in there for good luck (though they were keen to advertise
the going-five-nights-a-week thing as soon as the credits rolled.

Well I certainly enjoyed most of the ep, dragged a bit towards the end, but
certainly a good ending in general.

Bye Bye Brookie.

Yes, that announcement was bloody annoying. You'd think they could've let
the theme music play uninterrupted and leave the Hollyoaks ads for the many,
many trailers.

Being as it ended on the 5th November there should have been some fireworks
at the end and a big bonfire in the close......

It wasn't "Grange Hill type" - it was a *direct quote* from the theme to
"Grange Hill" ("Chicken Man", by renowned library composer Alan Hawkshaw).

It was done to remind us that Mersey TV is still around and still making
programmes.
